M&A&O
Corporate promotional video, explaining Platinum Equity's operation approach to M&A. Featured on platinumequity.com
In 2012, Youtube announced that it had reached 4 billion views per day, the equivalent of half the world's population watching one video EVERY DAY, and online video accounts for 40% of all web traffic. As these numbers increase, so will the importance of a well-told story.
My interdisciplinary approach allows me to create beautifully produced, honest video marketing material that resonates with viewers on a profound level, pushing the boundaries of corporate communications, continuing education, business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing, short & long form documentary, and promotional pieces.

HOOSIER
1978-1997
My midwestern beginnings are responsible for a dry sense of humor and level-headed humility on which my personality is built. Here's where I perfected my deadpan delivery. I excelled in artistic pursuits from an early age, went to computer camp in the Soviet Union, and followed professional basketball religiously. As a member of the state champion high school debate team, I learned to think analytically, and that almost any position, right or wrong, in any argument, can be supported by some bit of trivial fact.
LOW COUNTRY
1997-2004
In Savannah Georgia, I first learned of the power of time-based media, and the responsibility an artist working in the medium has with a viewer's attention. In other words, none of us can get any of the time back spent watching student films. I developed a reverence for both non-fiction and experimental film. I also learned how to manually skip songs on a jukebox. I learned the value of community and collaboration, and developed a strong work-ethic, delivering ice to country stores among the cotton fields. I ate boiled peanuts and thought a lot about life.
BROOKLYNITE
2004-2012
Cramming into a mass of humanity twice a day, commuting from Brooklyn to Manhattan, sharing subterranean air, changed my perspective immeasurably. It's here where I honed my storytelling craft, working first in Chelsea and later on Madison Avenue, tirelessly pushing marketing and corporate video into the realm of human interest. Part of an active creative community, I seized opportunities to create installations and music videos for independent and avant-garde musicians, that no one from Indiana has ever heard of.
